Time Warner buys NDTV Imagine for $126.5M
Time Warner Inc. (TWX) said its board approved the acquisition of NDTV Imagine Ltd., a Hindi general entertainment channel, and other entertainment assets in India, from NDTV Networks PLC for $126.5 million. In a press release Wednesday, Time Warner, the owner of HBO and CNN television networks, said the purchase will result in a 92% stake in Imagine. The investment includes $50 million to fund business operations at the acquisition's closing. via online.wsj.com
